To defend yourself effectively you need to be skilled in all aspects of fighting, striking and grappling, standing, and while on the ground. Mixed Martial Arts or MMA teaches all of these things.
Mixed Martial Arts is one of the fastest growing sports, regardless of how one feels about it, its’ popularity is ever increasing. For some it is seen as aggressive and violent, and to others it is purely a sport enjoyed and looked upon like every other sport. Whether frowned upon or rejected, with guidance and the right attitude, mixed martial arts could be led on the right path for our future generations.
We combine the best techniques from a variety of different martial arts to form the most effective self defence system possible. The predominate components of our MMA classes are Muay Thai, Wrestling, and BJJ.
- Muay Thai skills for striking and defence against strikes on our feet
- Wrestling to take our opponent down or defend their takedowns
- BJJ to finish the fight on the ground or defend against strikes
We use the most fundamental and highly effective techniques of these three styles in our MMA training.
If you want all round martial arts skills to defend yourself at each of these different ranges we highly recommend you bring it all together with MMA!
Classes are held on:
Mondays 8:00 to 8:50pm
Wednesdays 8:00 to 8:50pm
